Daedeok Orchestra (Manager: Shin, Hyeon Cheol) established in Janurary 2000 in order to practice voluntary services through music, to satisfy cultural desires of the members of the orchestra and local residents, and to make contribution towards advancement of local cultures is a private orchestra with unique composition made up of specialist musicians and music lovers working at research institutes, universities and industries in Daejeon. It has grown into a representative private orchestra of Daejeon by performing more than 70 performances including 16 regularly scheduled performances and 9 performances for the residents of Daedeok-gu over the last 12 years.

    • - Graduated from the School of Arts of the Chungnam National University
    • - Completed conductor course at the Kyiv National University of Culture and Art
    • - Conducted orchestra for his graduation at the Russian GNESIN's Academy of Music
    • - 2003 : Conducted the State Symphony Orchestra of Russia under Madam Dudarova
    • - 2007 : Conducted the Gala Concert, ‘Masquerade’, at the musical and opera concert of the Alumni of Chungnam National University
    • - 2010 : Received the Daejeon Artist Award
    • - Musical director and the permanent conductor of Daedeok Orchestra
    • - Musical director and the permanent condtㅅuctor of Daejeon Art Orchestra (DAO)
    • - Musical director and the permanent conductor of KAIST Orchestra
