'LOHAS Geum River San-Ho-Bit Park‘, which was opened in May 2010 to the residents, has established itself as a new major landmark of Daejeon. Geum River LOHAS San-Ho-Bit Park was established on 34,670㎡ of land in the general region of #522-3 Seokbong-dong, Daedeok-gu as the result of the “LOHAS Geum River Project” aimed at developing the general regions of the Shintanjin and Geum Riverside by the Daedeok-gu in environment-friendly manner. This Park is situated next to the large-scale, 50-story high EXLLU apartment complex with 3,400 residential units and Geum River, and is the representative Citizen’s Park of Daejeon with diverse range of facilities including musical fountain, floor fountain, physical training ground, in-line skating rink, badminton court and soccer ground.
LOHAS Geum River San-Ho-Bit Park, which has established itself as a renowned tourist destination in Korea, holds Geum River LOHAS festival every year under the theme of 「Family, Health, Happiness, Sharing, Environment and Study」. In addition, outdoor swimming pool, the first to be constructed on the southern region of the Han River, has adult pool with length of 60m and 2 children’s pools as well as locker rooms, rest room and canteen. Huge number of residents visit and enjoy the facility during summer every year.
