Preface
The statistics of Gu is a basis and index to see the past and the
present of our community and the development process of Gu with
nowadays changing rapidly. It is also used for not only
government police making and business decision making but
appropriate and long term planning about the Gu administration.
In the twenty first century of knowledge and information society,
the statistical information is a foundation for national development
and a valuable and precious property. With understanding of it, we
publish the 10th Yearbook of Daedeok-Gu with statistical data and
information on the administration, economy, education and culture
of Daedeok-Gu. We will do our best to make it contain accurate,
valuable and reliable information to meet various demands of
statistics and to used for forecasting the future of our community
I hope this statistical yearbook will be widely used for the
development of local community and the academic research, and
deeply thank those who provide valuable and essential data to
publish it for their all efforts.
